Eddy's Restaurant & the Sand Dollar Pool

The Carillo family, Sonja, Eddy Sr. & Eddy Jr. are your hosts at Eddy's Restaurant located pool side at Sand Dollar.

A full American breakfast buffet is served daily from 7:30am - 10:00am. Lunch is served daily from 11:30am - 2:30pm.

For dinner, Chef Eddy has introduced an assortment of dishes with an ethnic bent and unusual combinations, such as the "Choppy Choppy Bite Bite" - a stack of ribs “Eddy Style” marinated with Eddy’s secret recipe sauce, "From Russia with Love" - Beef stroganoff served with turkey, ham and mushrooms or local specialty Keshi Jena, made of chopped grilled chicken in a cheese melt with raisins.

The Pool Bar is open from 11:00am to 10:00pm continuous with "Happy Hour" from 5:00pm -  to 7:00pm. Join in the fun on Monday nights for "Mojito Madness" - with the bartenders serving up Mojito's for only $3.00 each!  Wednesday nights at the pool bar are "Ladies Night" with all women receiving 2 for the price of one drinks from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. Friday nights call for a special celebration, with half price drinks being served up from 5:00pm - 7:00pm along with free snacks and live music.

The Sunset Bar & Grill

The Sunset Bar & Grill at neighboring Den Laman is open every day except Wednesday from 11:00 am – 2:30 pm for lunch and 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm for dinner. Friday nights Sunset offers a seaside barbeque which includes marinated beef sirloin & chicken, grilled catch of the day & pork ribs, assorted delicious sauces and salsas, local red bean rice, salad and corn on the cob.

Nubia's Day Spa

Nubia Day Spa offers professional massage therapy, facials, reflexology, lymph drainage, Shiatsu, deep tissue massage and other body and facial treatments.

To help heal sore muscles and joints try her soothing mud therapy treatment, or relax with a stress-relieving facial to cleanse and revitalize your face and neck.

Lover's Ice Cream

If you are a follower of "Bonaire Chat", undoubtedly you already know that on your very doorstep lays the top island made ice cream shop on Bonaire!  Be prepared - shop early to sample your favorite waffle cone, or take your favorite flavor home to your freezer. Don't forget to pack elasticized waist pants.  The ice cream is worth each and every calorie!

Bonaire Chat N' Browse provides computers with Internet services for those who do not bring their own. Office services are also available including sending and receipt of faxes, downloading digital images, scanning and copies, and a call and message center. Chat N' Browse also doubles as a fantastic gift shop! They carry a wide selection of gifts and goodies, books and guides, and artwork, specifically hard to find artwork from local artists, as well as Indian artwork from the Kuna Indians of Panama and the Ecuadorian Indians. Or, while on Bonaire, enjoy an occasional Cuban cigar!

Chat 'n' Browse is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM until 8:00 PM, and Saturday, Sunday and all holidays from 8:30 AM until 6:00 PM

Hato Mini-Mart

The Hato Mini-Mart has opened in the space formerly occupied by the Sand Dollar Grocery store in the Sand Dollar mini-mall, next to Lover's Ice Cream and Bonaire Chat N' Browse. The mini-mart offers many grocery staples suitable for quick meals and has plans to add a bakery soon. The mini-mart is open from 7:30 AM to 9:00 PM, 7 days a week.

The "District" Shops

The District Shops, located across the street from the Sand Dollar mini-mall first opened in the summer of 2008. One handy shop to have so close at hand is the Bonaire Mart, which features a well stocked beer, wine and liquor Department.

Sharing the complex is the Eli Deli, which offers omelets and other egg dishes for breakfast and deli sandwiches throughout the afternoon. The Eli Deli is open Tuesday - Friday from 7:00am - 6:00pm, Saturday from 8:00am - 4:00pm and Sunday from 8:00am - 2:00pm, closed on Mondays.

There is also the DA Drugstore, which carries a large selection of health & beauty aids.
