no long walks carrying groceries and lugging dive gear from a far away parking lot for Sand Dollar guests!
A short stroll from your condo toward the waterfront leads you to our sun decks with lounge chairs and a sturdy ladder accessing the ocean for swimming and world class snorkeling. A fresh water shower is located seaside at each of the two sun decks.
After diving or snorkeling, enjoy the pool, pool bar, restaurant or play some tennis. Sand Dollar has 2 lighted tennis court available for your use free of charge.
The Carillo family, Sonja, Eddy Sr. & Eddy Jr. are your hosts at Eddy's Restaurant located pool side at Sand Dollar. A full American breakfast buffet is served daily from 7:30 am - 10:00 am. Lunch is served daily from 11:30 am - 2:30 pm. For dinner, Chef Eddy has introduced an assortment of dishes with an ethnic bent and unusual combinations, such as the "Choppy Choppy Bite Bite" - a stack of ribs “Eddy Style” marinated with Eddy’s secret recipe sauce, "From Russia with Love" - Beef stroganoff served with turkey, ham and mushrooms or local specialty Keshi Jena, made of chopped grilled chicken in a cheese melt with raisins.
Dinner is served from 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm. Click here for a sampling of the menu. The Pool Bar is open from 11:00 am - 10:00 pm continuous with "Happy Hour" from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm. marinated beef sirloin & chicken, grilled catch of the day, pork ribs,
assorted delicious sauces and salsas, local red bean rice, salad and corn on the cob.

It is also a fantastic gift shop, carrying a wide selection of gifts and goodies, books and guides, and artwork, specifically hard to find artwork from local artists. Chat 'n' Browse is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am - 8:00 pm, and Saturday, Sunday and all holidays from 8:30 am - 6:00 pm.
If you are a follower of "Bonaire Chat", undoubtedly you already know that on your very doorstep lays the top island made ice cream shop on Bonaire - Lover's Ice Cream! Be prepared - shop early to sample your favorite waffle cone, or take your favorite flavor home to your freezer. Don't forget to pack elasticized waist pants. The ice cream is worth each and every calorie!
The Hato Mini-Mart, next to Lover's Ice Cream and Bonaire Chat N' Browse, offers many grocery staples suitable for quick meals and has fresh baked breads and rolls as well. The mini-mart is open from 7:30 am - 9:00 pm, 7 days a week.
Maduro & Curiel's Bank, near the entrance of Sand Dollar, offers full service banking, a drive up banking window and drive-up ATM.
Across the street from the Sand Dollar complex are the "District Shops". 
One handy shop to have so close at hand is the Bonaire Mart, which features a well stocked beer, wine and liquor Department. There is also the DA Drugstore, which carries a large selection of health & beauty aids and the Ellis Deli.
The Ellis Deli offers a wonderful selection of deluxe sandwiches and salads or breakfast items to either take away or eat al fresco. It is a great place to pick up a sandwich "to-go" for the perfect post-dive snack!
The Bon Bida Spa & Gym is directly across the street from the entrance of Sand Dollar. Bon Bida Spa & Gym offers medical fitness, massage and physical therapy as well as being a luxury training facility with state-of-the-art equipment and professional fitness instructors. It includes a large range of Technogym equipment and a large number of classes. Day passes are available for $14.50 per day offering unlimited training during all normal business hours, fitness and group exercise.
