What could be better than learning how to dive in warm clear water under the careful guidance of Bonaire Dive & Adventures experienced PADI & SSI dive instructors? Add to the near 100 foot visibility a reef that runs parallel to shore for easy navigation, our minimal to non-existent currents, and you have an ideal environment in which to learn or perfect your diving and buoyancy skills.
With the majority of marine life found between the shallow drop-off area and the first 50 to 60 feet of the reef slope, new divers are afforded plenty of bottom time in which to develop confidence in their skills and a level of comfort in their newly entered environment.
Advanced divers will be inspired by the respect for diving freedom that pervades Bonaire, while still having the opportunity to continue their diving education via advanced course with Bonaire Dive & Adventure's multilingual instructors.
For all courses - Open Water through Assistant Instructor, advanced SSI and PADI specialties or Enriched Air (Nitrox) Certification - the staff is dedicated to making your diving education and diving experiences memorable.
As a participating REEF Field ID Station, Bonaire Dive & Adventure also offers beginning through advanced fish identification courses, organizes survey dives, and sells related fish watching materials. It also serves as a distribution point for fish survey forms, and actively recruits new fish- enthusiast members! You can also undertake the challenge of becoming a member of the dive shops "Century Club" by identifying 100 different species of fish on a single one-tank dive!

Referral Minimum Age: 15 (Junior 10) Days: 2 Dives: 4 Prerequisite: A properly completed instructor referral form dated within the last 12 months. Dive students who have completed the academic and confined water portions of the PADI, SDI/TDI or SSI Open Water Diver course can finish their certification here at Bonaire Dive & Adventure. Our Instructors can assist you with your PADI Referral, SDI Global Referral, or SSI Universal Referral. This is a very popular and convenient way to complete open water certification with a minimum of vacation time. MEDICAL NOTE
Before participating in any PADI Diving course, you will need to complete a PADI Medical statement. A link to this statement is provided below so that you can review it in advance of your vacation. The purpose of this medical questionnaire is to find out if you should be examined by your doctor before participating in recreational diver training. A positive response to a question does not necessarily disqualify you from diving. A positive response means that there is a preexisting condition that may affect your safety while diving and you must seek the advice of your physician prior to engaging in diving activities.
