How to Clean Ultrasonic Essential Oil Diffuser

Deep-cleaning ultrasonic diffuser:

  • Pour the filtered water into the diffuser’s water reservoir until it fills half of it.
  • Add around 10 drops of distilled white vinegar.
  • Turn on the diffuser for a few minutes then drain the diffuser.
  • Dip a cotton swab in the distilled white vinegar and clean the diffuser thoroughly then rinse with fresh clean water.
  • Wipe the diffuser until it’s completely dry.

Regular-cleaning ultrasonic diffuser:

  • Turn off the diffuser and unplug all the cords.
  • Pour the filtered water into the diffuser’s water reservoir until it fills half of it.
  • Turn on the diffuser for five minutes then drain the diffuser.
  • Wipe the diffuser with a soft cloth.
  • Dip a cotton swab in the rubbing alcohol and wipe the ultrasonic plate until you are sure that the buildup from the essential oil is cleaned up.
  • Rinse the water reservoir and dry it up with a soft cloth.

How to Clean Atomizing Essential Oil Diffuser

Deep-cleaning atomizing diffuser:

  • Turn the diffuser off and unplug all the cords.
  • Soak a cotton swab in rubbing alcohol.
  • Wipe the areas of the diffuser carefully.

Regular-cleaning atomizing diffuser:

  • Add around 30 drops of rubbing alcohol into the water reservoir. swirl it so the alcohol can cover the interior of the glass.
